The 2020 United States census reported that Norris Canyon had a population of 1,313. The population density was 363.7 PD/sqmi. The racial makeup of Norris Canyon was 24.3% White, 1.9% African American, 0.4% Native American, 67.0% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 1.6% from other races, and 4.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the population.

The census reported that 100% of the population lived in households.

There were 360 households, out of which 55.3% included children under the age of 18, 88.1% were married-couple households, 0.8% were cohabiting couple households, 6.4% had a female householder with no partner present, and 4.7% had a male householder with no partner present. 2.8% of households were one person, and 0.8% were one person aged 65 or older.
