Frenchtown-Rumbly is a census-designated place in Somerset County, Maryland, United States. The population was 96 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Frenchtown-Rumbly is located at (38.082475, −75.862791).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.4 sqmi, of which 4.2 sqmi is land and 4.2 sqmi (50.36%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 96 people, 47 households, and 29 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 23.1 PD/sqmi. There were 97 housing units at an average density of 23.4 /sqmi. The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.83% White and 4.17% African American.

There were 47 households, out of which 19.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.2% were married couples living together, 8.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.2% were non-families. 31.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
